Meet Neile

Rooted in Community. Ready to Lead.

My husband, Fred, and I have called Rhode Island home for 20 years and have lived in Barrington for eight. We have two sons, BHS Classes of 2025 and 2028. Like so many Barrington families, we chose this community because of its outstanding schools, beautiful neighborhoods, and strong sense of community.

Professionally, my decade as a stay-at-home mom was bookended by two decades shaping strategy and marketing for large corporations and small businesses. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and my MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. (Visit my LinkedIn Profile to learn more.)

My career has included managing multimillion-dollar budgets, launching marketing campaigns, developing go-to-market strategies, and presenting to executive leadership. These experiences taught me how to evaluate complex issues, build consensus, and make difficult decisions based on facts and thoughtful analysis.

Those same skills have shaped my approach to community service.

Community Leadership

Community involvement has been a constant in my life. Great things happen when neighbors contribute their time, energy, and expertise.

  • Lead Barrington Residents for Appropriate Development (“BRAD”), bringing together hundreds of Barrington residents and retained experts to shape development plans for the former Zion Bible College property (This is ongoing! Join this effort by following BRAD on Facebook.)

  • Organized community members to:

    • Protect honors coursework at BHS

    • Retain and invest in our neighborhood elementary schools

    • Install the Bristol Middle Passage Port Marker Project Memorial

  • Volunteer enthusiastically in Barrington Public Schools:

    • Co-Chair BMS Pasta Night Fundraiser

    • BHS Senior Project Judge & Mentor

    • BMS Shark Tank Judge

    • Room Parent at Primrose Hill and Hampden Meadows

    • After Prom - I’ve blown up a lot of balloons (IYKYK!)

  • Served on Non-Profit Boards:

    • The Miriam Hospital Women's Association

    • Siempre Carolina Annual Gala benefitting Mass General Cancer Research
